Since 1992, when we opened our first learning center, New Horizon has been providing affordable child care and education programs to families throughout Prince George's and Charles County. Our Centers offer superior quality learning programs for infants, toddlers, pre-school, and before & after school. 

Our summer camp programs offer a variety of learning experiences in a more relaxed fun filled atmosphere. We believe that every child has a future to build, and New Horizon has everything they need to build that future. Children love New Horizons because its fun. Parents love New Horizon because they know their children are receiving the best care and education available.

Our Philosophy

New Horizon is dedicated to the philosophy that children learn by doing and by exploring their environment. Children prosper when their individual emotional, social, intellectual, and physical needs are recognized and nurtured. New Horizon is designed to foster the development of each child's self esteem while instilling an understanding of the values of others. We acknowledge the family as a child's primary source of love and care and strive to assist parents in nurturing the child as an individual, as a family member, and as a member of society. We offer an environment where parents can participate and take an active role in their child's growth and development.
